Maison went to Vans the other day

Maison went to Vans the other day, and while he was there, he asked a lady if he could work there. She jokingly said, “Get a red vest and a name tag, and then we can talk.” Well, Maison, being the little boy he is, took her seriously.

This morning, he showed up at Grandma’s house wearing his Christmas suit (which has a red vest) and was trying to take the name tag off one of his presents under the tree. He said, “I need a name tag so I can go to work—I already have the vest.”

We all thought it was so funny and adorable! Grandma called Vans and told the manager the story. The manager said, “Bring him down today.”

Next thing you know, Maison was at Vans stocking shelves and handing out candy canes. He even earned $5!

It’s so amazing and heartwarming to see a store do something like this for a little boy with a dream of working. I know where I’ll be shopping from now on! Huge thanks to Vans and their wonderful manager—you made one little boy’s day so special!
