I am Orange Kitty

I am Orange Kitty.

I once had what you might call a home. My owners lived there—but I was never truly part of it. For years, I survived on my own, searching for food and shelter. My fur was crawling with fleas and ticks. They didn’t care. They didn’t care when I was out in the freezing cold. I lost part of my ear because of you.

One day, I came across a house. Through the window, I saw cats—happy cats—lounging on a tall cat tree. I sat on the other side of the glass and thought, “I have a dream.” Why couldn’t I have that too?

Then, a human stepped out of the house. I didn’t trust her—how could I? It was humans who had failed me before. But she kept her distance. Her voice was soft. She didn’t force anything. She offered me cream and kibble, filling my empty stomach. With each quiet moment, she also reached for something deeper—my heart.

She noticed when I didn’t show up. She worried. She cared. I didn’t know what love felt like… until now.

To my former owners—you lost a good cat. You didn’t think I was worth your time, your care, or your love. But someone else does.

Now, I have a new family. I am safe. I am cherished. I am loved.

I am Orange Kitty. Hear me roar.
